ACT is a youth group created by the youth for the youth. Their mission is to ACT through God in all that they do. ACT was created to minister to 6th-12th grade youth of Harmony Grove and beyond. Please check out ACT's Covenant created by the youth for the youth if you are considering joining our group. ACT was designed to be a safe space for youth to explore and question their faith and beliefs.

 

Current Programs:

ACT on Sundays: Youth (6th-12th grades) meet every Sunday from 12PM -2PM in the Barrier Building to break bread (eat pizza) and serve the community together. 1st time vistors, regulars, and everything in between are always welcome to join. No matter who your family is, where you come from, whether homeless, middle class or rich, whether you wear all black or bright colors, no matter your race, or your gender and sexual identity, you are always welcome in this space. God made each of us beautiful and unique blessing each of us with different gifts and graces to ACT in the world for God's purpose. Come join us whether you know who God is or you are walking into the doors of the church for the first time. This time is focused on planning and executing missions in our local community as well as taking time for fellowship with one another.

ACT through our new Youth Choir: Youth in grades 4th-12th are welcome to join us on Wednesday evenings from 6:45pm-7:30pm for an opportunity to perform in a choir. All levels of experience are welcome. 

Middle School ACTers Prayer Breakfast: Come join our 6th-8th graders every other Tuesday morning before school from 7:30-8:30am to ACT through prayer. This is a time of fellowship and prayer focused on current events at everyone's favorite chicken joint Chick-fil-a located at 4801 Lawrenceville Hwy. 

High School ACTers Prayer Dinner: Come join our 9th-12th graders once a month on Saturday evenings from 5pm-6:30pm for an opportunity to ACT with prayer focused on current events. Location changes every month. Email hgumcyouth@gmail.com for more information.
